Stuart A. Sklar is a founding partner of Liss + Earls Law Firm, formerly Fabian, Sklar, King & Liss, P.C., and is a nationally respected fire and explosion litigation attorney with more than 40 years of experience representing homeowners, businesses, and victims of catastrophic property loss. He has handled hundreds of complex claims involving fires, explosions, gas leaks, and insurance coverage disputes. Early in his career he co-founded Fabian, Sklar, King & Liss, P.C. to advocate exclusively for policyholders in first-party fire-insurance disputes.
The National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI) honored Stuart as the first attorney ever to receive its Distinguished Service Award. A Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator (CFEI) and veteran member of multiple NFPA technical committees, he helps shape national fire-investigation standards and trains public and private investigators, attorneys, and experts nationwide
Education
Stuart earned his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his Juris Doctorate from the Michigan State University College of Law.
